GETTING HERE

Nimmo Bay Resort is accessible only by Air or Water. The resort itself is the only development in the area and does not have road access. Outlined below are the most direct ways to get to Nimmo Bay.

FROM OUTSIDE BRITISH COLUMBIA (INCLUDING USA, EUROPE, EASTERN CANADA, ETC)
Fly to Vancouver International Airport (YVR), on the airline of your choice, be sure to arrive prior to 15:00.
Take the Pacific Coastal Airlines Flight from South Terminal to Port Hardy Airport (YZT) departing at 17:00, flight is 1.5 hours (we can book this for you).
Board the Helicopter that will be waiting for you at the Port Hardy Airport and Fly to Nimmo Bay, flight is 25 minutes (this transportation is included in most packages).

FROM VANCOUVER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Take the Pacific Coastal Airlines Flight from South Terminal to Port Hardy Airport (YZT) departing at 17:00, flight is 1.5 hours (we can book this for you).
Board the Helicopter that will be waiting for you at the Port Hardy Airport and Fly to Nimmo Bay, flight is 25 minutes (this transportation is included in most packages).

FROM DOWNTOWN VANCOUVER
Take SeaAir Float Plane directly from downtown Vancouver into Nimmo Bay, flight is 1.5 hours (we can book this for you).

FROM VANCOUVER ISLAND
Drive to the Port McNeill Airport, this is also the Helicopter Base for West Coast Helicopters, arrive at the pre-arranged time.
Board the Helicopter that will be waiting for you at the West Coast Helicopter Base and fly to Nimmo Bay, flight is 25 minutes (this transportation is included in most packages).

VIA PRIVATE JET
Port Hardy Airport (YZT) has refuelling and aircraft ramp parking facilities. Pre-customs clearance can be made by calling 1-888-CANPASS (please call for details).
Board the Helicopter that will be waiting for you at the Port Hardy Airport and Fly to Nimmo Bay, flight is 25 minutes (this transportation is included in most packages).

VIA PRIVATE FLOAT PLANE
Fly directly into Nimmo Bay where there is space both to land and secure your Aircraft (please call for details)

ARRIVING BY BOAT
Fly into Port Hardy Airport from Vancouver International Airport via Pacific Coastal Airlines (we can book this for you)
Drive from Port Hardy to Port Mcneill (we can help arrange this for you).
Board the Boat that will be waiting for you in Port McNeill Marina and it will take you into Nimmo Bay, traverse is 1.5 hours.
OR
Take BC Ferries from Mainland Vancouver to Vancouver Island.
Drive to Port McNeill Marina (7hours from Swartz Bay Terminal, 4 Hour drive from Departure Bay or Duke Point)
Board the Boat that will be waiting for you in Port McNeill Marina and it will take you into Nimmo Bay, traverse is 1.5 hours.

SPECIAL NOTES
Most of our guests departing from Nimmo Bay through Vancouver in the evening will spend the night in Vancouver. We have negotiated special rates and services for Our Guests with the Fairmont Vancouver Airport Hotel (www.fairmont.com/vancouverairport/). We would be happy to make a reservation for you, or if you choose to make one yourself please mention that you are a guest of Nimmo Bay in order to be given our guest rate.
